Thank you to Dee Moore, who works for Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Dee has stage 4 Kidney Disease and she hosts a Podcast called Diary of a Kidney Warrior Podcast in partnership with Kidney Care UK. The podcast is dedicated to raising awareness of Kidney Disease, Kidney Disease prevention and sharing information about living well with Kidney Disease.

Dee interviews Kidney Patients who share their stories, experiences & advice and also interviews Health Professionals to get their expert perspective. The podcast is released every other Monday. She told us

"I have covered subjects such as: “What is Kidney Disease & what Causes it?”, “Chronic Illness and mental health”, “A guide to understanding your renal blood test results”, “healthy weight loss and Kidney Disease”, and lots more! The goal is always to encourage, inform and empower Kidney patients, their family and friends."
