As
the Commonwealth Games approach, Birmingham City Council is thinking about what
the future of arts and culture will look like in the city.
We aim to publish a statement of intent that sets out a co-produced vision for
arts and culture for Birmingham for the next decade by the end of August 2022,
and we want you to be part of 'The Big Creative Conversation'.
In preparation for this statement we are hosting a series of events to open
dialogue with people from all walks of life, including organisations and
communities, to paint the picture of what the creative future of Birmingham
should look like by 2032.
During the event, we will be discussing different aspects of arts and culture in
Birmingham, and we want to hear your view on how we can build a vision for the
future of Birmingham.
To kick off the events, we are hosting a virtual launch event on Zoom on
Thursday 26th May from 1.30pm to 3.00pm.
If you want to be part of The Big Creative Conversation, please join on the launch
event on the day using the Zoom link below.
