We would like to formally invite you to the ‘Alum Rock Commonwealth Community Celebration’ which is to be held on Sunday 14th August from midday to 6.00pm at Adderley Road park, Alum Rock, B8 1PY.
This is a
chance for the diverse community of Alum Rock and the surrounding area to
commemorate the Commonwealth Games and provide an opportunity to partake in
many of the sports that will take place at the games. There will be a vast
array of activities and sports for everyone to try out for FREE such as
archery, basketball, table tennis, cycling, decathlon, football, cricket,
hockey, tennis and many more.
This inclusive
Commonwealth celebratory event will have activities to cater for all the family
such as Live music, Drama performance, arts and crafts, horticulture and bouncy
castle. There will also be a host of merchandising stalls selling a variety of
items which include food, drinks, desserts, clothes, jewellery and henna.
