The Sutton Coldfield Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) are looking for groups who provide activities and events for people aged between 18 and 49 with additional needs.
Additional needs refers to anyone who needs support and
assistance with things like access, communication, care needs, independent
living, mobility and health, including people who identify as disabled people.
Funding, promotional support and help with capacity
building are all available to community organisations (or assets) through the NNS. Both small and larger grants up top £10,000 are
available for applications. If your organisation is based in Sutton Coldfield
and requires any of the aforementioned support, or if you know of an
organisation that may qualify, then please get in touch with us.
Members of our team will help you fill out a grant
form, as well as offering advice in growing your organisation to reach a wider
audience, helping with the sourcing of volunteers or carers and also by putting
you in touch with people with a vast knowledge of the sector who can work and
connect with you and your organisation.
We have also undergone a process of mapping the
area in an attempt to find any gaps, for example where certain groups are not
getting high-quality provision of activities or perhaps activities that have
proved popular elsewhere but are not available in Sutton Coldfield. If you have
any ideas about gaps in relation to groups or activities then we also ask you to reach out to us via our email nns@ageconcernbirmingham.org.uk or call us on
0121 362 3663.
