Message from Ashleigh Jones (Midland Mencap)
Hi Guys,
The New Year is fast approaching, and I don’t know about you, but I’m becoming increasingly concerned about the impact of the cost of living, especially after the Christmas hype.
At Midland Mencap (and Include Me) we’re aware of how much the cost of living is affecting the mental health of our citizens, and that’s why we want to do something to help YOU!
Now I’ve spoken to lots of citizens with a disability or long-term health condition, as well as parents, carers and other support, and the one question that seems to be cropping up in all conversations is ‘How can I be better with my money to make it go even further?
For that reason, I’d like to invite you to our next Citizens Forum meeting, where we will be joined by Owen O’Brien from Northfield Neighborhood Network Scheme to give us some easy tips and tricks to help us manage our money better!
This meeting is FREE to attend, and will be held via Zoom- It doesn’t matter where you live in the West Midlands, or if you have a disability, long-term health condition or you’re a parent, carer or professional wanting to know how you can help the person you support in the best way possible… EVERYONE is welcome.
When: Monday 16th January
Time: Between 6pm and 8pm
