Possible venues for Hormonal Health in the Workplace workshops

Women's Health Strategy
Salus Fatigue Foundation are delighted to be working in partnership with BVSC and DRC to deliver a project to support the Department of Health and Social Care’s Women’s Health Strategy.

Salus will be delivering monthly workshops to support hormonal health in and out of the workplace throughout Birmingham and Solihull over the next 2 years, starting in April. We plan to provide holistic support to assist people experiencing hormonal health issues, with the main focus on perimenopause and menopause, to remain in and return to the workplace. The project aims to align with the Women’s Health Strategy aims for health in the workplace:

    • women feel supported in the workplace
    • taboos are broken down through open conversation
    • employers feel well equipped to support women in managing their health within the workplace

We would be delighted if you would like to be part of this project and hold one of the 12 workshops. In order to deliver a workshop in your constituency please could you propose a potential venue which would work for such a session.

The 2 hour workshops will be engaging, fun, practical and include a comprehensive hormonal workbook (this will be your friend for life) to take away.

The benefits:

1: Individuals will adopt new techniques and strategies to improve their hormonal health.

2: Individuals will feel more confident, supported and empowered to remain or return to the workplace.

3: Individuals will feel heard, have access to peer support and guidance within a hormonal health community.

Come and join us at the Launch Event to find out more about the project and how it can support your communities and workforce. Refreshments and snacks will be included.
