The Launch of our Health and Wellbeing Festival for people aged 50+ in Sutton Coldfield.
The launch event will take place at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall, Upper Clifton Road B73 6DA.
The Festival will take place for two weeks following the launch event across Sutton Coldfield and we are inviting local organisations and services who support citizens to improve, maintain or simply enjoy their health and wellbeing, to run activities throughout the week:
- The activities can be anything that improves people's lives and their physical or mental health.
- We are encouraging everyone to join in by offering an activity during the Festival, from hospitals & clinics; faith groups & community centres; charities & social enterprises; carers groups & leisure centres; social & health care and other professionals.
- We will promote all participating activities in a booklet of information and contacts with a calendar of local events.
The Festival is a collaborative venture between Age Concern Birmingham, The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield and the Sutton Coldfield Neighbourhood Network. The organisers are working closely with partners from NHS, BCC Adult Social Care and Public Health Birmingham.
