In October 2024 NNS Sutton Coldfield will be launching a grant scheme to community groups called the Fairer Futures Locality Small Grants Fund.
In partnership
with colleagues from Erdington NNS (Witton Lodge Community Association) and our
mutual partner Compass Support, we will support our local community groups to
apply for funding of up to £15,000 per year for three years from the North
Locality allocation of the fund.
For groups
in Sutton Coldfield you must apply to the fund through our NNS team based at
ACB, Boldmere office. For groups in Erdington you must apply through the team
at Witton Lodge and for groups making an application in either constituency
under the ‘best start in life’ theme you can apply for support from Compass
Support. If you are considering an application across both constituencies,
please contact the NNS team most local to you.
Support to
be provided to community organisations to produce high quality bids and develop
sufficient evaluation to ensure that impact is measured.
Four
Thematic Areas for bids
· Best Start in Life
· Healthier Lives in Communities
· Better outcomes through earlier
identification and treatment
· Empowering and Connecting Communities
If your
community organisation has ideas that might fit with one of these themes and
you have capacity, experience, knowledge and infrastructure to deliver a 1 – 3
year project, either in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington or across both
constituencies, then please send an email with a short expression of interest
and we will update you with more details in October:
