Volunteer Brum
Please spread the word on this. It’s hopefully going to be a
new way of supporting with the really difficult and ongoing task of recruiting
volunteers in the city. It doesn’t replace local knowledge nor volunteers
coming from those benefitting from projects. But it’s one of the priorities
identified by the sector and in the Vision for Volunteering strategy. It was
launched on Monday.
The Volunteer Brum platform https://www.volunteerbrum.org/ is a
new digital brokerage platform designed to connect VCFSEs in Birmingham
with volunteers, as well as offer residents opportunities to make a meaningful
impact in their community.
