I thought you might be interested in this free training from Birmingham LGBT. If you have already been on the Transgender Awareness Training session before, feel free to pass your colleagues and connections:
(Available for public healthcare, social care and 3rd sector workers delivering services in the West Midlands.)
These 2-hour training sessions include interactive elements and are delivered via Zoom.
This training
will help participants to:
• Understand transgender related terms and definitions
•
Increase confidence when working with transgender colleagues and service users
•
Understand the Equality Act 2010 and Gender Recognition Act 2004 with regards
to transgender people
• Make service
provision more inclusive of transgender people
