Healthwatch Birmingham have for the past few years been working with Birmingham
Community Healthcare NHS Trust through the Community Connexions project.
We
are currently working on a study into people’s experiences of using pharmacies
for clinical/health advice and/or treatment. We have a survey that went live
yesterday. We are keen to get a wide range of experiences and have made efforts
to engage with people living in highly deprived areas and areas where we have
higher numbers of minority ethnic groups. I am emailing to see if you can share
our survey with organisations and residents of Birmingham you work with. I have
put below the message we are sending out to organisations to share with their
members.
What
do you think of your local pharmacy?
Are you a:
- Person who has used a pharmacy service in
Birmingham?
- Family member, carer, or friend of someone who
has used a pharmacy service in Birmingham?
If so, we would like to hear your experiences, good or
bad, of using pharmacy services.
We want to:
- Hear your views on the health advice and
treatment available at local pharmacies.
- Understand how easy or difficult it is for you to
get health advice or treatment from a local pharmacy.
- Find out how you think local pharmacies can be
improved.
Your experiences will provide valuable information to the
NHS to improve the provision of local pharmacy services in Birmingham.
Please spare 5-10 minutes to complete our confidential survey.
