Birmingham Community Matters (BCM) will be delivering their Bid Writing workshops as part of our NNS capacity building programme.
It is a 2 part workshop in person. Venue to be advised.
The content of the sessions will be:

Session 1
Fundraising - Planning a project/Writing your funding
application proposal/Budgets where to start?
At this event we will help you with the steps to plan your
project, write a funding application summary and identify and plan your budget
and costings.
If you are involved in running a small voluntary group in
Sutton Coldfield
If you would like help in how to start to write a funding
application, key information to include and how to plan your budget.
Session 2
Fundraising – Outcomes and outputs /Measuring the impact of
your project.
At this event we will help you think about the community activities
you run and define what the outcomes and outputs could be for the people you
work with.
This will help you to explain the positive change you want
to make especially when you are seeking funding to support the work you do
We will discuss ways to measure and show the impact of your
project and how best to collect information from the people you work with to
help to support you with reporting and applying to funders.
This in-person session is for you:

If you would like help in how you set outcomes for your
project and measure the impact of your project.
The sessions are most suitable for small community groups who need moving on from NNS (where 1:1 support has been available) to other grant schemes e.g. Awards For All.
